blog ops
We had a long rest day Sunday after our shore trip, and yesterday was Monday reset, which becomes a little more ritualized every week. We walked at a local park last night with a friend who invited us for another walk this morning at Peace Valley.
I've been on a tomato sammich kick the last couple days. I had a little sourdough and some fresh basil ready so I made one with tomato, basil, and a thick slather of toum. I had a white onion I intended to caramelize with shiitakes but sauteed half with fennel seeds and red pepper flakes, then topped a hummus sammich with a spread of that, a fried tomato, more fresh basil, and a thin layer of toum on the top slice of bread to glue down the herbs.
In between walking and eating I've been hacking away at a
libext2fs
wrapper and building out my blog ops, which have rapidly
been approaching a commit point. The wrapper is in good shape, and I
was able to build out a small aiohttp
based server using it. I'm
eager to start publishing those, which meant more infrastructure and
identity, which has been this evening's playtime. I realized I've had
an e-mail address published on here since inception that goes nowhere,
so I've setup an inbox for that and added a proper contact
page. I'm using simplelogin
for the frontend, zoho mail
for
the backend, and evolution
for the MUA. I'd like to get setup with
a cli based workflow, but that's work for another post.
I started writing this at 10PM. It's almost midnight now, but I've finished configuring e-mail, new gpg and ssh keys on a yubi, and a sourcehut account, and I've pushed both repos, so I'll call that ops bingo. I'd like to do write ups for the individual projects, but for now the wrapper is available here and the HTTP server based on that here.
