I finished a round of bathroom projects this week. I started peeling wallpaper a hundred years ago and still haven't removed all of it, just enough to patch and paint the most egregious holes in the walls before next week's party. We went for a long walk Tuesday morning then had lunch. I had rice left over from the night before so made us each onigiri while the bread grilled for a sandwich.
After lunch I found notes beneath the paper left by the father and son who installed it 27 and 49 years ago. I did a final sanding of the plaster I layered on last week and primed the walls and ceiling then walked some more. I went to Halloween themed trivia at the firehouse then painted, finishing late in the night.
I slept in Wednesday then picked up the boudoir prints from the studio. We joined friends for a rainy, muddy walk down the Wissahickon then I mounted the new art and slept some more.
Yesterday I took a break from projects to walk with a neighbor then see The Woman King with friends. Today I ran errands and got a haircut before a long walk around the neighborhood. I made a big dinner, more colorful than my usual monochromatic meals, and have been watching the Phillies game, which is currently tied up at the top of the eighth.
